It’s quick and easy to cook a whole gammon joint in an air fryer. Brush it with your favourite gammon glaze and enjoy all the flavour of this roast gammon joint.
PREP TIME: 5 minutes

Ingredients
- 1 kg gammon joint (see notes for other weights)
- 2 tbsp honey (see notes for gammon glaze ideas)
Instructions
- Remove the gammon joint from the fridge about 30 minutes before cooking it.
- Loosely wrap the gammon joint in some foil.
- Place in the air fryer and cook at 170°C for 1 hour and 10 minutes (for cooking times for other weights, see the notes).
- If you are glazing the gammon, about 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time, pull back the foil and brush your chosen glaze over the gammon. Honey, mustard (or a combination of both) are a good choice. Return to the air fryer and cook for the remaining 10 minutes. You can turn the heat of the air fryer up for this bit to get the skin crispy.
- Once the gammon is cooked all the way through – the internal temperature should be 75°C – remove it from the air fryer and leave it to rest for about 10 minutes before carving it.

Aim for 25 minutes of cooking time per 500g plus 20 minutes.
