Air Fryer Omelet Frittata Recipe
Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 12–15 mins
Servings: 2–4
Ingredients:
6 large eggs
¼ cup milk or cream (optional, for fluffiness)
½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, feta, or your choice)
½ cup diced bell peppers
¼ cup chopped onion
½ cup spinach (fresh or frozen, thawed and squeezed)
¼ cup cooked bacon, ham, or sausage (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking spray or a bit of oil
Optional: fresh herbs like parsley, basil, or chives for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat the Air Fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3 minutes.
Prepare the egg mixture:
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk (if using), salt, and pepper until well combined.
Add fillings:
Stir in cheese, vegetables, meat (if using), and spinach.
Grease your baking dish:
Use a small oven-safe dish or cake pan that fits inside your air fryer basket (6–7 inches works best). Spray with cooking spray or brush with oil.
Pour mixture into the dish:
Ensure it’s evenly distributed.
Cook in the air fryer:
Place the dish in the air fryer basket. Cook at 350°F (175°C) for 12–15 minutes, or until the frittata is set and lightly golden on top.
Check doneness with a toothpick—if it comes out clean, it’s done.
If the top browns too quickly, you can cover it loosely with foil halfway through.
Cool slightly and serve:
Let it rest for 2–3 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
Serving Ideas:
Serve with toast, avocado, or a simple salad.
Great for meal prep—slice and store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
