Grilled Banana Sandwich – Full Recipe
Serves: 1 (easily doubled)
Ingredients
2 slices of bread (white, wholegrain, or brioche all work)
1 ripe banana (sliced)
1 tbsp butter or margarine (for spreading)
1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
1 tbsp peanut butter or Nutella (optional but delicious)
Method
1. Assemble the sandwich
Lightly butter one side of each bread slice (this will be the outside).
On the unbuttered side of one slice, spread peanut butter or Nutella if using.
Layer sliced banana on top.
Drizzle with honey/maple syrup and sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.
Place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side out.
2. Grill it
Heat a skillet or non-stick pan over medium heat.
