Here’s a full recipe for a Cottage Cheese Pie — a simple, delicious dessert with a rich, creamy texture and lightly sweet flavor. It’s great served warm or cold!

Cottage Cheese Pie Recipe

Ingredients

For the crust (optional – or use a pre-made pie crust):

1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs (or digestive biscuits)

¼ cup sugar

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

For the filling:

2 cups cottage cheese (small curd preferred)

3 large eggs

½ cup sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp all-purpose flour

½ tsp lemon zest (optional, for brightness)

¼ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt (optional, for creaminess)

Pinch of salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the crust (if making your own):

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until it resembles wet sand.

Press into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie pan.

Bake for 8–10 minutes until lightly golden. Let cool slightly.

2. Make the filling:

Preheat oven (if not already) to 350°F (175°C).

In a blender or food processor, blend the cottage cheese until smooth.

Add eggs, sugar, vanilla, flour, lemon zest, sour cream (if using), and a pinch of salt.

Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

3. Assemble and bake:

Pour the filling into the crust.

Bake for 35–45 minutes, or until the center is just set (it may jiggle slightly).

Let cool completely before refrigerating for at least 2 hours for best texture.

Serving Suggestions

Dust with powdered sugar.

Serve with fresh berries or fruit compote.

Drizzle with honey or a fruit syrup.
