Air Fryer Yogurt Cakes

Here’s a full Air Fryer Yogurt Cake recipe – light, moist, and fluffy. It’s a simple one-bowl recipe using yogurt to keep it soft and tender.

Air Fryer Yogurt Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup plain yogurt (unsweetened or Greek style works best)

3 large eggs

½ cup vegetable oil (or melted butter)

¾ cup sugar (adjust to taste)

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

(Optional) Zest of 1 lemon or orange for extra flavor

Instructions:

Prepare the batter

In a mixing bowl, whisk together yogurt, eggs, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

Add oil and mix until combined.

Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt. Gently fold until just combined (do not overmix).

Grease the pan

Lightly grease a 6-inch round cake pan (or small loaf pan) that fits in your air fryer.

Line with parchment paper if possible.

Pour batter

Transfer the batter into the prepared pan.

Tap gently to remove air bubbles.

Air fry

Preheat air fryer at 160°C (320°F) for 3 minutes.

Place the cake pan inside and cook for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

If the top browns too quickly, cover loosely with foil halfway.

Cool & serve

Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing.

Slice and serve as is, or dust with powdered sugar.

Variations:

Fruit Yogurt Cake → add blueberries, raspberries, or chopped strawberries to the batter.

Chocolate Yogurt Cake → replace ¼ cup flour with cocoa powder.

Nutty Twist → fold in ¼ cup chopped walnuts or almonds.
