How to bake pears in an air fryer.

Ingredients
- 2 pears
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Add butter to an 8 inch baking dish and place in your air fryer basket.
- Preheat the air fryer to 320°F/ 160°C.
- Halve pears and remove and core with a small spoon [Note 1].
- When the air fryer finishes preheating, add the sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg to the melted butter and stir to combine.
- Place the pear halves cut side down into the butter spice mixture. Spoon some of the mixture over the top of the pear halves.
- Air fry at 320°F/ 160°C for 10 minutes.
- Flip the pears over so they are cut side up, spoon some of the melted butter mixture over the pears.
- Air fry pears for 2-4 more minutes to slightly caramelize the tops.
- To serve, drizzle with “caramel sauce” remaining in the pan and a scoop of vanilla ice cream or yogurt on the side.
