- Stay hydrated with this easy infused water recipe. A pitcher of fresh fall apple slices makes hitting hydration goals easier.
Ingredients
- 2 sweet apples thinly sliced
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 8 cups water or 1/2 gallon
- 1 lemon juiced divided
- water to fill medium bowl
Instructions
- 
Add 1/2 lemon juice to medium bowl of water & stir
- 
Place apple slices in bowl to soak about 2 minutes
- 
Transfer apple slices to 1/2 gallon pitcher
- 
Add 8 cups of water to pitcher
- 
Add cinnamon sticks, cover, & place in refrigerator
- 
Let apples infuse for at least 4 hours
- 
Strain solids from water
- 
Add juice of 1/2 lemon & stir
- 
Garnish with fresh apple slices and lots of ice to serve
- 
Can keep in refrigerator up to 3 days
Variations of Apple Infused Water For Fall & Winter With 8 Cups of Water
- Apple Detox Water – Add a handful of mint leaves and half a sliced cucumber to the pitcher of apples & cinnamon
- Apple Orange Cinnamon Water – Use 1 thinly sliced apple & 1 thinly sliced orange & 1 cinnamon stick
- Apple Cinnamon Ginger Water – Use 1 thinly sliced apple & 1 cinnamon stick & 5 to 7 slices of fresh ginger
