Here’s a classic, easy chocolate chip cookie recipe 🍪
(It’s great for beginners and tastes amazing.)
Ingredients
1 cup (225 g) butter, softened
¾ cup white sugar
¾ cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, cream butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet (leave space between cookies).
Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.
Let cool for a few minutes, then enjoy 😋
Tips
For chewier cookies: chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
For crispier cookies: bake 1–2 minutes longer.
You can add nuts, extra chocolate chips, or even a pinch of cinnamon.
