Crispy Air Fryer Cauliflower

Here’s a crispy, flavorful air fryer cauliflower recipe that’s super easy and tastes like a healthier version of fried bites:

Crispy Air Fryer Cauliflower

Ingredients

1 medium head cauliflower (cut into florets)

2 tbsp all-purpose flour

2 tbsp cornstarch

½ cup milk (or plant-based milk)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

½ cup breadcrumbs (panko works best for extra crunch)

Cooking spray or a little oil

Instructions

1. Prep the Cauliflower

Wash and cut cauliflower into bite-sized florets. Pat them dry well (this helps crispiness).

2. Make the Batter

In a bowl, whisk together:

Flour

Cornstarch

Milk

Garlic powder

Paprika

Salt & pepper

It should be like a thick pancake batter.

3. Coat the Cauliflower

Dip each floret into the batter

Then roll in breadcrumbs to coat evenly

4. Air Fry

Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F)

Place florets in a single layer (don’t overcrowd)

Lightly spray with oil

Cook for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.

Optional Flavor Boosts

Toss in buffalo sauce for spicy wings-style bites

Add parmesan + Italian seasoning for cheesy flavor

Drizzle with honey garlic sauce for sweet-savory vibes

Tips for Extra Crispiness

Use panko breadcrumbs

Don’t skip flipping halfway

Cook in batches if needed

Spray lightly with oil before cooking
