- ¼ cup melted butter regular or plant-based
- ½ cup lemon juice freshly squeezed or bottled
- 1 teaspoon lemon extract optional
- 1 cup organic cane sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 2 cups regular or gluten-free all purpose flour
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
For The Cream Cheese Glaze
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- 2 oz cream cheese regular or vegan
- 2 tablespoon melted butter regular or vegan

Begin by preheating the oven to 350. Spray 16 silicone donut hole molds with non-stick spray.

In a mixing bowl, mix the milk, butter, lemon juice, sugar, and lemon extract (if using). Add the baking powder and baking soda and mix. The mixture is going to begin to fizz and grow, so quickly add your flour and begin to mix until a smooth batter forms.

Fold in the blueberries and spoon the batter into 16 greased silicone donut molds. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes or until they’ve completely risen.

Mix the cream cheese, melted butter, and powdered sugar together to make the frosting. Drizzle it over the lemon blueberry donuts after they have cooled off and enjoy!
