High protein cottage cheese pizza bowls made with cottage cheese and your favorite pizza toppings.
PREPARATION TIME:

Cook Time: 12 minutes
Ingredients:
- 16 oz cottage cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
- 3/4 cup marinara sauce
- 4 oz turkey pepperoni
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1-2 cups pita chips
- 2 cups mini peppers

To make in a casserole dish in the oven

Preheat oven to 350. Blend a 16 oz container of cottage cheese using a blender or immersion blender.

In a medium sized bowl or in the cottage cheese container, add Parmesan Cheese and seasonings. Mix well.

Cover the bottom of the casserole dish with the cottage cheese mixture.

Next, layer tomato sauce and then mozzarella cheese and pepperoni on top of the cottage cheese mixture.

Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

Top with extra parmesan cheese and serve with pita chips and sliced bell peppers for dipping!
To make in a single serving bowl

Blend 1/2 cup cottage cheese with an immersion blender or countertop blender.

Add cottage cheese, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning, 1 tbsp Parmesan Cheese, 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, 1/4 cup marinara sauce and 1 oz turkey pepperoni to a bowl. You can also add any other pizza toppings you enjoy like chopped peppers, mushrooms or onions.

Mix well and microwave for 20-35 seconds. Top with extra parm and serve with pita chips and mini peppers. Enjoy!

Notes:
Because it’s heated, the cottage cheese will not be perfectly smooth. If the cottage cheese texture doesn’t bother you, you can skip the blending!
