Ingredients
2 cod fillets (about 1-inch thick, thawed if frozen)
1 tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil
½ teaspoon salt (to taste)
½ teaspoon pepper (to taste)
1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning (or lemon pepper, Cajun, etc.)
Instructions
Prepare the Cod : Brush both sides of cod fillets with oil and season with salt, pepper, and your choice of seasoning.
Preheat : Let the cod rest for 5 minutes while you preheat the air fryer to 400°F . Grease the air fryer basket lightly.
Cook the Cod : Place fillets in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes , flipping halfway. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 145°F .
Serve : Serve hot with a side of tartar sauce or your favorite dipping sauce. Pair with salad, veggies, or fries.
