1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp olive oil
5 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a kick)
1/4 cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)
Juice of 1 lemon (plus zest if you like)
Salt & pepper, to taste
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Freshly grated Parmesan (optional)
Cooked spaghetti, linguine, or crusty bread (for serving)
Instructions:
Prep the shrimp: Pat shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 2 tbsp of butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and red pepper flakes (if using), and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Cook the shrimp:
Add the shrimp in a single layer.
Cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
Deglaze & finish:
Add the white wine (or broth), lemon juice, and remaining 1 tbsp butter.
Simmer for 1–2 minutes to let the flavors come together.
Toss in the parsley and adjust seasoning.
Serve:
Spoon over cooked pasta or serve with bread to soak up that garlicky butter sauce.
Optional: Top with grated Parmesan and a little lemon zest.
