Mascarpone Cream Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream (cold)

1 cup (225 g) mascarpone cheese (cold)

1/2 cup (60 g) powdered sugar (adjust to taste)

1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions:

Chill your bowl and whisk: For best results, place your mixing bowl and whisk/beaters in the fridge or freezer for about 10–15 minutes.

Whip the cream: In the chilled bowl, whip the cold heavy cream with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until soft peaks form.

Add mascarpone: Add the cold mascarpone cheese and continue whipping just until stiff peaks form. Do not overmix or it can become grainy.

Add sugar and vanilla: Sift in the powdered sugar and add the vanilla extract. Mix gently on low speed until incorporated and smooth.

Serve or chill: Use immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 days in an airtight container.
