Here’s a classic Traditional Fudge Recipe—rich, creamy, and perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients:

2 cups granulated sugar

¾ cup whole milk

½ cup unsalted butter

¼ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (or finely chopped chocolate)

½ cup sweetened condensed milk

Instructions:

Prepare the Pan – Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Heat the Sugar & Milk – In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, whole milk, butter, and salt. Stir continuously until the mixture comes to a boil.

Boil Without Stirring – Let it boil without stirring until it reaches 234°F (112°C) on a candy thermometer (soft-ball stage). This usually takes 5–7 minutes.

Add Chocolate & Condensed Milk – Remove from heat and quickly stir in chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.

Pour & Set – Pour into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Let it cool at room temperature for about 2–3 hours, or until firm.

Slice & Serve – Once set, cut into small squares and enjoy!
